How Your Newborn Session Works
Booking your newborn session is simple and stress free. Once your due date is reserved, we’ll schedule your session within the first two weeks after your baby arrives.
On the day of your session, I come to your home with everything needed: professional lighting, props, wraps, and accessories for your baby so you don’t have to prepare anything. Sessions are calm and baby led, allowing time for feeding, soothing, and breaks.
After your session, you’ll receive a beautifully curated gallery to select your favorite images.

WHERE IS THE NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT?
At the comfort of your home (transportation at NYC included on the fee). Let me come to your home and photograph your baby and family without the need to move and expose your baby to weather conditions. I will bring the lights and all necessary props to carry on your baby’s photoshoot.
HOW MANY PHOTOS DO I RECEIVE AND WHEN?
If you chose the Platinum package you will receive 10 edited photos in high resolution.
If you chose the Luxe package you will receive 15 edited photos in high resolution.
If you chose the Premium package you will receive 20 edited photos in high resolution and the entire unedited gallery in high resolution.

DOES THE NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT INCLUDE FAMILY MEMBERS?
If you chose either the Premium or Luxe package yes, Mom, Dad and siblings are included to take a group family photo with the baby. If you chose the Platinum Package no, only your baby will be in the photos.
HOW DO I BOOK MY NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT?
Please contact us via email or phone at 516.405.1206 to set a date for your photoshoot.
Down Payment via PayPal of $100 is due to book your session. Balance is due on the day of the photoshoot.
HOW LONG IS THE NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT?
Depending on the package, your session can go from 1 to 3 hours. We go as fast as your baby let us. Sessions are calm and baby led, allowing time for feeding, soothing, and breaks.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY BABY IS OLDER THAN 1 MONTH?
Every baby is different, but they usually tend to be more awake after the first month, that’s why I strongly advise to do newborn photos within the first 2 weeks. However, if your baby is 1 month old (or older) we can still try to do newborn styled photos and if your baby doesn’t sleep for the poses we can still take beautiful awake photos.
WHAT SHOULD MY BABY WEAR?
I will bring all the elements for your baby (hats, headbands, teddy bears, wraps) and color background for your baby to lay on.
WHAT NEWBORN POSES DO YOU DO?
Those that your baby allows us. During all these years as a newborn photographer I was able to develop a workflow that allows me to secure photos, but the limit is always set by the baby.
WHAT TYPE OF EDITING DO YOU DO IN THE PHOTOS?
I remove any blemishes or skin problems in your baby. I also make corrections in the blankets, if needed. I color correct the photos to have a cohesive look throughout your gallery. My goal is to obtain a very natural look.
